More details about the country
Turkmenistan (Türkmenistan) is a sovereign country in Central Asia. It is the second-largest central Asian state, preceded only by Kazakhstan, as well as the southernmost of the five republics in the region. Turkmenistan is also one of the least densely populated of the sovereign states in Central Asia. It shares borders with the countries of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Iran, and has a coastline on the Caspian Sea. The capital of the country is Ashgabat (Ashkhabad), which can be found near the border with Iran.
Turkmenistan can be a worthwhile location to attain higher education. To begin with, while the country does have a relatively limited list of accredited universities such as the Turkmen National Conservatory and the Turkmen State University, it does compensate by providing thorough and rigorous training on a broad variety of subjects such as Education, Medicine, Engineering, Computer Sciences, and others. In addition, the country is a suitable location to practice foreign-language communication, including Turkmen and Russian. English is also a language that can be practiced in the country and can be an available choice for certain study programs. Furthermore, the country is a suitable location to participate in internship and volunteer programs in the fields of Business, Finance, Healthcare, Education, Tourism, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, and others. However, one should bear in mind that tuition fees can vary greatly. Furthermore, proper planning will be necessary as a student visa is necessary to travel to the country and enroll in the institutions of higher education within its borders and the procedure of acquiring one can take time.
