    More details about the country

Trinidad and Tobago (the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago) is a sovereign island country. It is part of the southeastern region of the West Indies and consists of the islands Trinidad and Tobago along with several islands of smaller proportions. The country forms the Caribbean Chain’s two southernmost links and can be found close to South America. The country is a member of several organizations such as the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Nations, with its year of joining being 1962. The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago’s capital is Port-of-Spain, situated on Trinidad’s western coast.

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago can serve as a stepping stone in attaining higher education and obtaining an academic degree. Although the sovereign state does have a limited list of accredited institutions of higher education such as the University of Trinidad and Tobago and the University of the West Indies, it does compensate by providing in-depth training on a comparatively broad list of subjects such as Management, Culturology, Education, Information Technologies, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, Psychology, Business, and Finance & Banking. In addition, tuition fees tend to be relatively less costly compared to other sovereign states such as Australia or New Zealand. Furthermore, the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago’s official language is English, thus permitting students to hone their skills in speaking and understanding one of the world’s international tongues. Similarly, the country provides many opportunities to participate in volunteer and internship programs, especially in the fields of Environmental Studies, Ecology, Education, Health, Economy, Business, Tourism, and others.
