    More details about the country

South Africa, officially known as the Republic of South Africa or the Union of South Africa, is the southernmost sovereign state of the African continent and a popular tourist destination due to its nature and culture. It is a country that has three de facto capitals: Pretoria (seat of executive power), Cape Town (seat of legislative power), and Bloemfontein (seat of judicial power). Other main centers include Johannesburg, Durhan, East London, and Port Elizabeth, with each being the main hub of commerce, industry or culture. South Africa shares its borders with Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, Mozambique, and Lesotho. It also has coastlines on the Indian and Atlantic Ocean.

As previously mentioned, South Africa is a frequently-recommended and often-traveled tourist destination. However, it should also be considered a worthwhile location to study abroad. This is due to several contributing factors pertaining to the range of available universities and fields of study, tuition fee affordability, and practical-skill-honing opportunities. To begin with, the country has a rather broad and diverse range of accredited and internationally recognized institutions of higher education, including universities featured in the 2020 QS World University Rankings such as the UCT Graduate School Of Business, the University Of Witwatersrand, the Stellenbosch University, the University Of Johannesburg, the University Of Pretoria, the University of The Western Cape, the Rhodes University, and the University of Kwazulu-Natal. Similarly, each of the institutions featured in the list can provide in-depth and high-quality training on a wide selection of study subjects such as Management, Business, Marketing, Information Technologies, Accounting, Administration, Engineering, Finance & Banking, Computer Science, and Economics. In addition, while tuition fees can vary greatly, they tend to be less costly compared to other countries such as Egypt. In addition, students can participate in internship and volunteer programs in the fields of Healthcare, Education, Marketing, Ecology, and Tourism.
