    More details about the country

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a sovereign island country lying within the Lesser Antilles in the eastern region of the Caribbean Sea. It is comprised of the island of Saint Vincent and the northern part of the Grenadine Islands, namely the islands of Bequia, Mayreau, Canouan, Prune (Palm) Island, Mustique, Union Island, and Petit Saint Vincent Island. Saint Vincent can be found about 20 miles to the southwest of the island of Saint Lucia and about 100 miles to the west of the island of Barbados. Kingstown is the capital and major port of the country and can be found on the island of Saint Vincent.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can serve as a worthwhile location to study abroad, especially in terms of certain fields of study. While the sovereign state does have a rather limited list of accredited institutions of higher education, each of the universities can provide in-depth training on a broad variety of subjects including Medicine, Nursing, Health, Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, and others. Medicine, Nursing, Health, and Biology, in particular, are among the popular selections, with several universities being available to provide tuition, including the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College, the All Saints University, and others. Apart from the previously-mentioned advantages, the country is a suitable location to practice English as this tongue is the country’s official language, including the one used for tuition. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a suitable location to participate in internships and volunteer programs pertaining to the fields of Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Environmental Studies, Media, Education, Agriculture, and Biology. However, proper research should be done regarding the study program and institution of higher education of choice as tuition fees can vary greatly.
