    More details about the country

Nepal, alternatively known as the Kingdom of Nepal/Nepāl Adhirājya/Sanghiya Loktantrik Ganatantra Nepal/Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a sovereign landlocked country in Asia, located along the Himalaya’s southern slopes. Its neighbors include the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and India. The sovereign state’s form of government is a federal multiparty republic with two legislative houses with the capital being Kathmandu (alternatively spelled Kantipur, Katmandu, Manju-Patan). It can be found in the hilly region near the confluence of the Vishnumati and Baghmati rivers.

Nepal can be a worthwhile location to obtain an academic degree and attain higher education. To begin with, the country has a rather exhaustive list of institutions of higher education with proper accreditation and international recognition. Furthermore, it is a sovereign state where a broad range of subjects can be studied, with examples including Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Management, Biology, Mathematics, Biomedicine, Information Technologies, Engineering, Technology, and Economics. Nepal is also a suitable location to participate in volunteer and internship programs, especially in the fields of Education, Agriculture, and Medicine. In addition, the country is a suitable location to learn foreign languages such as Nepali and to practice English via certain study programs or business matters. Lastly, the institutions of higher education in the country tend to have less costly tuition fees compared to countries such as Japan. However, one should bear in mind that a student visa may be necessary; therefore proper planning in advance should be done to ensure proper entry into the sovereign state. This includes inspecting the list of necessary documents such as medical examination papers, passports, and others.
