    More details about the country

Mozambique, officially known as República de Moçambique, or the Republic of Mozambique, is a sovereign and scenic country found in southeastern Africa. It shares borders with the countries Tanzania, Swaziland, South Africa, and Madagascar via the Mozambique Channel. It has an extensive coastline on the Mozambique Channel through which is has access to the Indian Ocean. The capital and main port of Mozambique is Maputo. It is the cultural and commercial center of the country and can be found along the north bank of Espírito Santo Estuary of Delagoa Bay.

Mozambique, despite its location and turbulent history, can be a worthwhile location to study abroad and obtain an academic degree. While the country does have a limited number of institutions of higher education, it does compensate by providing in-depth training on a variety of subjects including Management, Technology, Medicine, Accounting, Finance & Banking, Computer Science, Information Technologies, Programming, Biology, Chemistry, and others. Also, each of the universities available has proper accreditation and recognition, therefore students who graduate from the institutions will be able to find a suitable long-term job without risk of having their diploma rendered invalid. Also, the country’s official language is Portuguese, a tongue that is widely spoken around the world including Europe, North and South America. Apart from the previously mentioned advantages, Mozambique is also a location where tuition fees and the costs of living are relatively affordable compared to sovereign states such as Egypt or Morocco. There are, furthermore, many opportunities to participate in volunteer programs, especially in the fields of Ecology and Education.
