    More details about the country

Kyrgyzstan, alternatively known as Kirghizia/Kirgiz Soviet Socialist Republic/Kirgiziya/Kyrgyz Republic/Kyrgyz Respublikasy, is a landlocked independent country in Central Asia which shares its borders with Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Most of the mentioned borders the country shares with other sovereign states run along the crests of various mountains such as the Pamir Mountain range. The capital of Kyrgyzstan is Bishkek (alternatively known as Pishpek and Frunze), situated in the Chu River valley near the Kyrgyz Mountains, along the rivers Alaarcha and Alamedin, intersects with the Bolshoy (Great) Chuysky Canal in the north.

Kyrgyzstan should be considered as a worthwhile location to study abroad and obtain an academic degree. While the country does have a relatively limited number of institutions of higher education, it does compensate by providing in-depth training on a wide range of subjects within each university. For instance, students can choose to study subjects such as Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, Education, Philology, Information Technologies, Computer Science and others. In addition, the country offers rather high chances to obtain a suitable long-term job after graduation, especially in certain industries such as Medicine. Similarly, the country also offers plentiful opportunities to participate in internships, particularly in the fields of Marketing, Business, Law & Jurisprudence, Finance & Banking, and others. It should also be noted that while tuition fees can vary greatly, they tend to be less costly compared to other countries such as Russia or Borneo. Similarly, the costs for everyday expenses are relatively affordable. However, one should bear in mind that it may be worthwhile to employ a medical insurance with validity outside of one’s native country.
