There are several causes for this sovereign state to be among the often-considered when it comes to higher education and obtaining an academic degree. Among them is Hungary’s long-standing history of providing higher education within Europe. For instance, one of the oldest universities in the country was founded in 1276. In addition, the country currently has about 70 active, accredited and internationally recognized institutions of higher education, with many specializing in Arts, Humanities, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Environmental Studies and others. The sovereign state also offers opportunities to find a suitable long-term job after graduation including through internship programs, especially in the fields of Business, Medicine, and Information Technology. However, one should be mindful that competition for the limited job opening and internship programs can be quite fierce. Also, tuition fees can vary greatly, therefore students should consider contacting the universities of their choice and preference in advance.
