Grenada

Grenada, often referred to as the Isle of Spice, is an island country of the West Indies and the southernmost island of the Lesser Antilles’ north-south arc. It lies in the eastern part of the Caribbean Sea about 100 miles north of Venezuela’s coast. It also exerts power over the southern Grenadines due to this part of the archipelago being a dependency. Grenada gained its independence in 1974 even though it is still a member of the Commonwealth and has Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. Its capital and main port is St.George’s and can be found on the southwest coast of the island.

Grenada can serve as a means of progress or stepping stone when it comes to obtaining an academic degree and higher education. While the country has a limited list of available universities and a similarly finite number of subjects which can be studied, it does recompense by providing in-depth training including practical knowledge. Similarly, a student can find volunteer programs pertaining to Wildlife Conservation as well as Education.
