    Estonia is a sovereign country in northeastern Europe with a territory that includes about 1,500 islands and islets. The two largest islands, Saaremaa and Hiiumaa, are situated off the west coast of the sovereign state. The country’s land borders are shared with Russian and Latvia. And to the north and west, the sovereign state is surrounded by the Baltic Sea. Estonia’s capital is Tallinn and its form of government is a unitary multiparty republic with a single legislative house. Estonia is the northernmost country of the three Baltic states, with the other two being Latvia and Lithuania.

    Estonia can be an interesting location when it comes to obtaining an academic degree. To begin with, the country has about 15 universities with international recognition and accreditation allowing a student to obtain a degree that will be accepted in many countries around the world.
