    More details about the country

Equatorial Guinea is a country located on the west coast of the continent Africa. Its territory consists of Río Muni (Continental Equatorial Guinea) and five islands (collectively known as insular Equatorial Guinea). The islands in question are Bioko (formerly known as Fernando Po), Corisco, Great Elobey or Elobey Grande, Little Elobey or Elobey Chico, and Annobón (otherwise known as Pagalu). Equatorial Guinea has two capitals: Bata, which is the administrative capital of the mainland, and the official capital Malabo, which can be found on Bioko. The continental part of Equatorial Guinea is bounded by Cameroon to the north and Gabon to the east and south.

Equatorial Guinea at a glance appears to be an unsuitable location to obtain an academic degree. However, the country can serve as a stepping stone in attaining a higher education as well as experience. While the country does have fewer than 10 universities available in the country, it does compensate by providing a relatively expansive list of subjects. These include Agriculture, Business, Management, Administration, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Philology, Culturology, Sociology, Political Science, Journalism, Law & Jurisprudence, Medicine, Nursing, and Economics. In addition, the country offers the opportunity to hone their students’ foreign-language skills. This is due to Equatorial Guinea having two official languages which are also used for tuition: Spanish and French. As a result, a student will be able to master communicating in one or two of the most widely spoken languages in the world, a skill which can be quite beneficial in many professions.
