Egypt

Egypt is a sovereign country located at the northeast corner of Africa on the Mediterranean Sea. The country shares borders with Libya, Sudan, the Red Sea, and Israel. It is a popular tourist site due to its interesting nature and ancient history. The sovereign country has several major geographical areas. These are the Nile Valley which is home to most of Egypt’s agricultural lands. There is also the Western Desert which occupies about two-thirds of the country and has natural resources such as gems, coal and oil. Lastly, there is the Sinai Peninsula which is a plateau linked to the north-eastern corner of Egypt. It has the most rugged mountainous terrain in the country. The capital of country is Cairo, which is also one of the largest centers of commerce and the location of many museums.

Egypt is often considered to be a suitable location for obtaining an academic degree and immersing into a Middle Eastern culture. This is due to the country’s pervasive list of accredited institutions of higher education which provide a broad range of subjects a student can choose from. Examples include Health Care, Engineering, Chemistry, Information Technologies, Tourism, Computer Science, Education, Pharmacy, Communication, Arts, Business, as well as Dentistry. Egypt is also a suitable location to learn and practice Arabic as it is the country’s official language and the tongue in which many programs are taught. Much of the populace also speaks English, especially within the tourism sector. Egypt is furthermore a country where the costs for education and living tend to be lower compared to nations such as Belgium. However, proper care should be taken to avoid issues related to visas and passports as the procedure for obtaining a student visa can be challenging.
