    More details about the country

The Republic of the Congo, often referenced as Congo-Brazzaville, is an independent country situated on both sides of the Equator within west-central Africa. It is a sparsely inhabited country, with more than 50% of its population living in its cities. Of these, the capital, Brazzaville, is the most populous, having a population of 2,308,000 as of 2019. The city itself is located in the southeastern corner of the sovereign state and serves as a major inland port on the Congo River. In 2013 it was designated as a City of Music by UNESCO. The country shares its borders with Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Angolan enclave of Cabinda, and Gabon. The sovereign state has a 100-mile-coastline along the Atlantic Ocean.

At a glance, the Republic of the Congo appears as a location that cannot assist in any way with obtaining an academic degree. However, it can serve as a stepping stone in obtaining the knowledge and skills needed to further one’s education and prepare for a chosen profession. While the country does have a rather limited number of institutions of higher education, it does compensate by offering a comprehensive list of subjects. These include popular choices such as Accountancy, Chemistry, Economics, Finance & Banking, Law & Jurisdiction, Management, Mathematics, Administration, and Information Technology. In addition, the programs provided are thorough and provide in-depth knowledge of the field of study one has selected. The county is also a good location to practice French, as this foreign tongue is the official language of the country and is used both in official documents and training programs. Apart from the previously-mentioned benefits, Congo-Brazzaville is a location where the tuition fees are comparatively low and daily expenses are within an affordable range. There are also many opportunities to practice vital skills such as communication, data gathering, and others via volunteering. For instance, a student can participate in projects within the fields of Ecology, Healthcare, Education, Administration, and others.
