    More details about the country

Andorra is one of Europe’s smallest countries. It is a mountainous landlocked principality located within the Pyrenees. Its neighbors include France and Spain which also serve via representatives of the respective country as the heads of the executive branch of government. Andorra’s land consists of 180 square miles of mountain terrain and forest which form the Valira River Valley. This area in and of itself consists of several different valleys created by different streams. Of these streams, the Madriu and the Perafita flow into the Madriu-Perafita-Claror valley creating a beautiful location which is deemed a UNESCO World Heritage site. The capital of the country, the city of Andorra la Vella, is known for both its attractive architecture as well as for being the highest capital city in Europe courtesy of its 3,356 feet elevation. Because of the beauty of its natural landscape in addition to its historical significance, the country and its capital is a popular tourist site.

While Andorra has plentiful reasons to be a popular tourist destination, the opportunities it can provide to students of higher education should not be overlooked. While the curriculum can be a bit lacking in terms of depth and breadth, it can nevertheless provide excellent conditions for quite a few fields. These include Nursing, Computer Science, Arts, Administration, Technology, Philology and others. As a result, students can be certain that their time spent at the university will be quite rewarding. It will also provide them with a chance to practice foreign languages such as Spanish and French as well as Catalan and/or Portuguese. It should also be noted that tuition fees in Angorra tend to be quite affordable regardless of budget. As a result, a student would be able to receive a high-quality education without reducing their savings too greatly. However, one should be mindful that the curriculum will likely include a significant number of long-distance courses in Spain and France.
